Artifact identification day at Indian Spring Hotel, near Flovilla

Join archaeologist Stephen Hammack and members of the Ocmulgee Archaeological Society, a Chapter of the SGA, at the historic Indian Spring Hotel across from the entrance to Indian Springs State Park for the Seven Islands Artifact Identification Day. This hotel is near the town of Flovilla, about 55 miles southeast of downtown Atlanta (see map via link below).

Watch an experinced flint-knapper work, and see a friction fire demonstration, too!
