Are you looking for funding for educational or outreach activities? Click here to read about the grant offered by the Southeastern Archaeological Conference. They offer one grant per year, not to exceed $2000.

All submissions for this grant cycle must be received by the Committee Chair, Mary Kwas, no later than December 1, 2012. For additional information beyond that posted on the SEAC website, call Mary Kwas at 479-575-6549 or email her by clicking here.

SEAC began in the 1930s, in response to the attention that archaeology in the southeastern USA was getting with Federal funds flowing to Works Progress Administration projects. In the days before the Internet and digital photos, SEAC’s annual meeting provided a forum for archaeologists to discuss what they were finding, examine artifacts, develop ceramic typologies, etc. Read more about the history of SEAC here.
