The Weekly Ponder is on vacation.

In honor of this modern habit, we suggest you ponder the seasonal patterns that people living in what is now Georgia in the recent and long-ago past sensed.

Did they have think of the passage of time in periods that resemble our weeks weeks, months, seasons, years?
