In 2012 while interning for HPD, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from Georgia State University. She continued her academic career by pursuing concurrent Master’s Degrees in Anthropology and Historic Preservation. Her interests include community engagement, public archaeology, and the intersection of archaeology and preservation of the built environment. Sarah is a member of the Southeastern Archaeological Conference, the Society for American Archaeology, the American Association of Physical Anthropologists, and the Association for Preservation Technology.
