West Georgia Underwater Archaeological Society

The West Georgia Underwater Archaeological Society was founded in 2002 by recreational divers and historians in West Georgia to discover, conserve, and preserve local submerged historical sites. WGUAS seeks to educate the public about the importance of our underwater heritage. Click here to go to the WGUAS website. In recognition, as of early 2009, WGUAS is changing its website to SEADive.org, which stands for SouthEast Archaeological Divers, in recognition that its members are from across the Southeast.
