The Gwinnett Archaeological Research Society will have its regular meeting for November 2009 on the 17th, beginning at 7 pm.

The meeting will be held at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center (GJAC) in Lawrenceville in the 2nd floor conference room center. Please note: voting will held for the new slate of officers and you must be a GARS member to vote.

The program for the November 17th meeting will be presented GARS member, Scot Keith. As some of you know, Scot is the lead archaeologist for the Late Woodland Leake Site, which the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation has listed on their 2010 Places in Peril. Scot will tell us about this site, its significance, and plans for the future, especially since the site has been recognized by the Georgia Trust.
