The SGA is soliciting presentations for the 2013 Fall Meeting, to be held Saturday, October 26, at UGA’s Miller Learning Center in Room 171. We have the space from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., so there is the potential for quite a few presenters. There will be a break between sessions for lunch (on your own). The SGA Fall Meeting Social Committee is currently planning evening activities. Stay tuned for more information.

We welcome papers on all subjects for this meeting. Students are encouraged to participate. Access a PDF of the call for papers by clicking here.

Papers that focus on archaeological research in Georgia or the bordering states will be considered for the program. Each presenter should plan for a presentation of 20 minutes. Please contact Amanda L. Morrow to submit your title and abstract (100 words) by September 20. Send them to her by clicking here. First come, first served; the number of slots is limited! Questions? Please call 770.815.8209 (Amanda Morrow) or 706.457.1034 (Matthew Newberry). The SGA charges all attendees, including presenters, a modest registration fee.

Meeting organizers have reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn in Athens (Group code ARC) (NOT the same as the Holiday Inn Express!). The rate is $99 per night and is good through October 4th.
