The Blue Ridge Archaeology Guild (BRAG) will meet on Wednesday, January 22, at 7:00 p.m., at the United Community Bank in Dahlonega, Georgia, 206 Morrison Moore Parkway.

BRAG President Tony Shore will give a presentation titled, “Moundville Archaeology and the Moundville Museum.” Moundville, located on the Black Warrior River in Alabama, is the second largest Mississippian period mound center in the United States, after Cahokia. Archaeology has been going on at Moundville for 150 years. The new museum exhibits are incredible. This will be an amazing presentation. Don’t miss it!

BRAG will also meet at Pueblos in Dahlonega at 5:30 pm. for a pre-meeting dinner. Visitors are welcome!
