The SGA invites you to join us for the 2014 Spring Meeting to be held on Saturday, May 10th in the Lakeside Ballroom at Red Top Mountain State Park located at 50 Lodge Road, Cartersville, GA 30121. The theme for Archaeology Month and this year’s Spring Meeting is Site Destruction: Pieces of Our Past Lost Forever.

The schedule for the Spring 2014 meeting of the Society for Georgia Archaeology is now available. Access a printable PDF of the presentation abstracts by clicking here. The itinerary for the day includes a morning of excellent papers and a discussion period, followed by lunch and a special tour of Etowah Mounds State Historic Site led by Dr. Adam King.

Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. Registration fees are $10 for SGA members, $15 for non-members, and $5 for students. Pre-registration is recommended. To pre-register, submit a completed registration form, which you may download by clicking here. On-site registration will be available; however, box lunches must be pre-ordered (e.g., Subway sandwich, chips, cookie, and a drink). Attendees to all SGA activities are expected to register (including if you just attend afternoon events).
