Mark your calendar: the SGA Spring Meeting will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 in Valdosta as part of 2015 Archaeology Month celebrations. The theme for this year’s Archaeology Month is “Native Shores, European Waves: Contact Archaeology in Georgia.”

The meeting will be held at the Lowndes County Historical Society, 305 West Central Avenue, in downtown Valdosta.

The SGA Board of Directors will meet at the same location on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 p.m., followed by the GCPA Board of Directors from 3:00-4:00 p.m., and the GCPA General Membership from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

At this time we do not plan to block off rooms at any particular hotel. Nearby hotels and contact information:
