The Greater Atlanta Archaeological Society has recently released its April newsletter- Atlanta Antiquities Vol. 6, No. 4. The newsletter contains information about the March guest speaker, Steven Scurry, who will present on The Oconee War—-Defending the Beloved Land: Borderland Warfare in Georgia History 1783 – 1796.   Also included in this month’s newsletter is information on upcoming events as well as a recap of recent news about laser scanning to identify Mayan structures in Guatemala.
