The Society for Georgia Archaeology would like to invite you to join us for the Fall 2017 meeting on October 14, 2017 at Gwinnett Technical College, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. We will be having a morning paper session with a focus on recent work in Georgia by SGA Chapters, members, CRM professionals, and academic and student archaeologists.

We have a morning session for paper presentations and SGA business that is scheduled to begin at 8:30 am on October 14 and continue until approximately noon. We have a great set of papers lined up for this meeting. Click here for meeting itinerary and detailed abstracts.

After the papers, those who are so inclined may go to the Universal Joint restaurant and bar, in Lawrenceville, where we have reserved a part of their patio for afternoon socializing and catching up. We have the patio reserved until 2:30, but you are welcome to stay as long as you like.

Meeting registration will be $10.00 to cover facilities and audiovisual equipment rental. Back issues of Early Georgia, Frontiers in the Soil, and other SGA merchandise will be available for sale at the meeting. Online registration is available through SGA’s square store where members can register in advance. All members are encouraged to do so as it greatly facilitates planning.

Gwinnett Technical College is located at 5150 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville, GA, 30043. The meeting will be held in Building 100, Room 701. Parking will be readily available. Universal Joint is located at 181 West Pike Street, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
