What is The Profile?
The Society for Georgia Archaeology publishes its newsletter, The Profile, two times each year in the Spring and Fall. The Profile includes discussions on public outreach and engagement, a message from the president regarding the membership activities and business of the society, updates from the various local chapters and past events and upcoming activities, field notes from private and public sector archaeologists about archaeological research across the state, and initiatives being carried out by the varied institutions of higher education.
Articles for inclusion in The Profile are compiled by The Profile Editor twice a year. The date of submission for in The Profile are aligned with the calendar, and end on the first day of March and September. Look for the new issue within the next month after the publication period closes. If you would like to submit something to The Profile, please contact the editor at Profile@thesga.org
